New Year’s Time Out

I’m going to go ahead and put this out there simply because I don’t know what the busy pace of the next couple of weeks holds, so I may not have time later.

We have been challenged to do a 40 day fast starting Jan. 1.  Ironically, a 40 day fast takes me to what I will call Day 1….the day after D-Days (if you’ve been with me for a while you know that D-day was a weekend – started on Friday night where I learned of affair #1.  Sunday night I learned of affair #2.).

I don’t think that’s by accident.  So, I’m going to take part.

Since I was declared clinically anorexic last year at that same time (due to the marital issues I simply could not eat and when I did it wouldn’t stay put) I don’t think fasting food is wise.  So, I will be giving up unnecessary internet.

Obviously, my blog is unnecessary.

I don’t tell you this so you can stand up and cheer.  Or so you can sit & pout.  In fact, I considered not saying anything, as we are called to fast unannounced.

However, I’ve seen the speculation that takes place on the blogosphere when one of us disappears.

I don’t want speculation or worries.

Please know I’m safe.

I’m growing closer to my Lord and Savior.

And if I don’t return right away please don’t worry.

I may have decided to extend my time away.

In case I don’t get a chance later, may you all have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

Much love,
